Korean Patchwork Workshop at the Leichhardt Library
In partnership with the Inner West Council Libraries, the KCC is excited to present another Korean Patchwork Workshop at the Leichhardt Library.
The Inner West Council’s network includes eight public libraries which have an extensive collection of books, magazines, DVDs, toys and online resources to borrow, and an interesting and diverse range of events for everyone. Also, the Inner West Council Libraries have a wide range of interactive school holiday programs for kids and youth.
In this hands-on sewing workshop, you’ll create your own hanging Jogak mobiles with Korean traditional knot. Jogakbo is Korean traditional patchwork using scraps of left-over fabrics from Hanbok(Korean traditional attire). Jogak means a piece of cloth, and bo means a wrapping cloth.
