STORY OF THE BOOK: Kim Ji-young, Born 1982 is a bestselling South Korean novel. It tells the story of an ordinary South Korean woman in her 30s, juggling work and family, and the gender bias she faces at each phase of her life. This book describes the mistreatment women face globally but is not often recognised.
