PAINTING WORKSHOP WITH AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR MYO YIM

DESCRIPTION: KCC is delight to offer a special Painting Workshop celebrating the upcoming Harmony Day. Myo Yim, children’s book author/illustrator will guide you into simple tricks and techniques decorating some Korean traditional Minwha style flowers/insects on the basis of a typographic design using the Korean word ‘하모니’ meaning harmony. Participants will take home their artwork and all materials will be provided. This program is designed for 18 years of age and over.

Author’s BIO

Myo Yim is an author/illustrator based in the Northern River of NSW Australia, originally from Seoul, Korea. She works across many mediums, 2d, 3d, digital and analogue and pencil drawing. To the Forest of the Night, published in Korea and Rajah Street, published in Australia. She has illustrated about 15 books over the last decade including White Sunday and Dorothy.
